Helping Not Helping

Rebecca worked with the Lumos communications and advocacy teams to project manage and launch the Helping Not Helping Campaign at One Young World, London, 2019.

 

The campaign targeted UK students to inform them of the dangers of orphanage tourism, as well as influence educational, business and travel stakeholders.

Undertaking research to support the launch, the campaign could share the scale of the issue and helped to influence UK Government travel guidance, which now advises UK citizens not to visit overseas orphanages.
